Our Story
Hi! I’m Terri.
I’m a Nova Scotian artist, storyteller, and the founder of The Little Red Door Jewelry.

What began as a creative hobby has grown into a collection-based jewelry brand inspired by the places, colours, and stories of Atlantic Canada.

Each Collection begins as original artwork. Drawing inspiration from coastal villages, beaches, landscapes, memories, and everyday moments, I create colour palettes and designs that capture the feeling of a place and transform it into wearable art.

Today, The Little Red Door is best known for jewelry that helps people wear a piece of Nova Scotia -whether it’s a favourite beach, a cherished memory, or a place that feels like home.
The Little Red Door
The name comes from a small studio with a red door that was on our former property.

When I first began creating, that little building became a space to explore my love of art and creativity. I was an RN at the time. What started with painted furniture, water colour experiments and abstract artwork eventually led me to polymer clay.

In 2018 I created my first pair of clay earrings inspired by Peggy’s Cove, a place I have loved for many years. That design sparked an unexpected creative journey that continues to evolve today.
